In the Khoisan religions, a man-eating monster feared by the Hottentots and Bushmen. He is one-armed, one-legged and one-sided and is partly invisible, but is agile and pursues his victims by jumping over bushes, just as does the Zulus' TIKSOSHE, a similarly-endowed malignant dwarf.
